Marian Lichtman responded to the accusations of Andrzej Kosmala, who accused him of promoting himself on the death of Krzysztof Krawczyk. The former Troubadour revealed that during the funeral there was an unpleasant situation involving the son of the deceased artist, Krzysztof Jr. He also explained what had happened between him and the widow before the mass.

Death Krzysztof Krawczyk unexpectedly led to a conflict between the artist’s former manager Andrzej Kosmala i Marian Lichtman, the drummer of the band Trubadurzy. It started with an interview in which Lichtman lamented that Krawczyk’s widow did not inform him personally about the artist’s deathwhom he considered a great friend. A few days after Kosmal’s funeral, he published an entry in which he accused Lichtman of a promotion on the singer’s death. He also described the shocking incident at the funeral with the participation of Ewa Krawczyk.

Marian Lichtman does not hide his surprise at the words of Andrzej Kosmala. As he said in an interview with “Fakt”, the version of the events presented by the manager is not true, and he considers the attacks of the former agent Krawczyk as a sign of antipathy to the Troubadours.
Mr. Kosmala hated the team of Troubadours all the time. He has always envied our family atmosphere, he was afraid of Krzysztof’s rapprochement with us. I did not know, however, that this antipathy would transfer to the church or the cemetery. The troubadours were supposed to sing at the funeral, which Andrzej Kosmala confirmed, but later he dodged and it did not come to fruition – revealed in the tabloid Marian Lichtman.
The former drummer stated that Kosmala wants to discredit him in the eyes of the public because he is afraid of his own position and that some inconvenient facts will eventually see the light of day.
Kosmala is terribly afraid that many “dark matters” will come out now, you will see. (…) Kosmala scares everyone if someone speaks badly, but the times of communist terror are over, you can’t do that. I have a moral right to speak about my deceased friend – believes Lichtman.
The former Troubadour intends to faithfully fulfill the will of the late Krzysztof Krawczyk, who, not yet in a relationship with Ewa, asked him for a favor regarding his son and ex-wife Halina Żytkowiak. “Don’t let my only son hurt me if something happened to me,” Marian Lichtman heard. Therefore, during the funeral, he decided to help Krzysztof Junior, who, as he claims, was deliberately removed back. Thus, he corrected the story with pushing his way through a crowd of mourners.
In the place where the funeral ceremonies were taking place, I noticed Krzys, the singer’s son, somewhere in the back. You could say he was boycotted, so I pushed him forward and said, “Go to the coffin itself, say goodbye to your dad.” He did so, though timidly, and when Kosmala saw it, he almost got mad. I stood by Krzysiek and also said goodbye to the deceased, because he was my greatest friend. Kosmala lied on social media, saying that I was jostling. Not true. I just wanted to let my son Krzysztof Krawczyk pass, because nobody wanted to let him into the coffin. I suspect that this happened at the request of Mr. Kosmala. I couldn’t watch it Marian Lichtman explained.
The musician also told what happened between him and the widow during the funeral. According to Lichtman’s account, while accepting the condolences, Ewa Krawczyk stopped her sobs and rebuked him for doing PR and business on the death of her husband.
I only replied: “Ewuniu, it was your husband, but my greatest friend”. Then I left. I lost my sympathy with them, because I will not let Krzysztof Krawczyk’s son hurt – Lichtman confessed to “Fakt” and said that Kosmala’s wife wanted to ask him to leave the front rows of the church.
Kosmala’s wife came up to me and said “there is no front seat for me” and led me to the end of the cathedral. However, I sat down where I wanted, and Kosmala started to make a row to me that I had offended his wife. (…) I am very sorry that during the mourning, on such an important day, Kosmala behaved like that. He also started sending me scary text messages that I won’t quotebut I will say what I wrote to him: “I lost a great friend, but I understand your bitterness because … you lost money.” After that he got mad – he revealed in an interview with the tabloid.
Andrzej Kosmala has not yet referred to the statement of the former Troubadour.
