The Kremlin spokesman believes Vladimir Putin’s health is a matter of national security and the president is still safe when it comes to corona infection.
On Friday, Dmitry Peskov was questioned about the health of his boss, Vladimir Putin, by Russian journalists. The applied question, second gazettethe long distance between the president and journalists during a press conference.
In early 2022, there was a lot of attention that Putin was sitting at one end of a long table and his interlocutors at the other end. This included, among other things, a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron and a meeting with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Defense Chief Valery Gerasimov.
The Kremlin spokesman highlighted mutations of the corona virus and waves of various flus as a backdrop for Putin and his people who have yet to take their precautions.
– In such conditions, of course, the president’s health is a matter of national security, Peskov said – and added that Putin’s communication with the media in the near future will not be the same as before the pandemic.
On December 13, the Kremlin announced that Putin had been vaccinated against the flu. The president advised his colleagues to follow his example.
Vladimir Putin has received the corona vaccine at least three times, most notably the Russian-made Sputnik.
There were many rumors about Putin’s health in Western media throughout 2022. In June, Newsweek quoted US intelligence that the president was being treated for cancer. This has never been confirmed by the Kremlin.
It has they have also been claimed several other times that Putin was treated for cancer. The Ukrainian intelligence chief is among those who claimed responsibility.
On Friday at the latest, the Danish Defense Intelligence Service released new statements about Putin’s health.
They believe that Putin made the decision to invade Ukraine when he was under the influence of a type of cancer drug which, among other things, gives you the side effect that you can get a form of megalomaniacal insanity.

In the interview, “Joakim” himself also says that President Putin had the so-called “moon face” at the beginning of the year, when the war broke out, and that it is “another known side effect of the same treatment hormonal”.
It was speculated whether Putin is in pain and therefore sits in a special way and holds the edge of the table during meetings.
