On December 13, the Kremlin announced that Putin had been vaccinated against the flu. The president advised his colleagues to follow his example.

There were many rumors about Putin’s health in Western media throughout 2022. In June, Newsweek quoted US intelligence that the president was being treated for cancer. This has never been confirmed by the Kremlin.

On Friday at the latest, the Danish Defense Intelligence Service released new statements about Putin’s health.
