Former Zenit defender Igor Smolnikov returned to Krasnodar.
According to the club’s press service, the 31-year-old defender signed a 2 + 1 contract with Krasnodar. The agreement will take effect on August 1.
Smolnikov will play for Krasnodar with number 28.
Recall that Smolnikov left Zenit, for which he played since 2013. Previously, the defender has already played for Krasnodar: he played there from 2012 to 2013.
In the 2019/20 season, Smolnikov played 12 matches for Zenit in RPL and made one assist.
