PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk appointed a new director through the EGMS (Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders) today, Friday 12 August 2022. Salman El Farisiy was appointed Director of Human Capital.
Garuda Indonesia President Director Irfan Setiaputra confirmed the information when asked by reporters. Irfan also confirmed that Salman replaced Aryaperwira Adileksana as Director of Human Capital.
“Yup (Salman El Farisiy was appointed Director of Human Capital),” when asked by reporters at the Ritz Carlton Pacific Place, South Jakarta, Friday (12/8/2022).

Salman started his career in a number of domestic companies. He has served as the President Director of PT Krakatau Daya Listrik from July 2022 to the present. Then, as a Legal Expert at PT Krakatau Steel Tbk for the 2020-2022 period.
In 2014 he served as President Director of PT Six Tujuh Multi Karya in the field of HR Management Business. This position was held until 2017. Then, Legal Expert of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources since 2014-2017.
Previously, in 2012-2021 he served as Corporate Lawyer for Lion Air Group.
Meanwhile, the plan to approve additional capital by granting Pre-emptive Rights (HMETD) aka rights issue and plans to increase capital without giving pre-emptive rights or private placement are postponed for discussion at the EGMS. Previously, the approval was included in the agenda of the EGMS.
