However, Korean Air and Seoul City decided not to specify the timing of contract sales in this adjustment. It is interpreted that Korean Air has previously accepted the condition that the Seoul Metropolitan Government requested that the contract date should not be specified in November of last year.
It is reported that the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) mediated through a’three-party exchange’ method in which the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) purchased the site in Songhyeon-dong and exchanged it with the Seoul city.
This agreement is expected to accelerate the implementation of Korean Air’s self-reliance plan. The site is known to be around 500 billion won.
Last year, Korean Air sold its in-flight meal and in-flight duty-free sales business to a private equity fund, Han & Company, for about 800 billion won. Wangsan Leisure Development, Carl Limousine, and Brake Leisure are also in the process of selling.
A Korean Air official said, “We are continuing discussions with related organizations such as the Korea Rights Commission for smooth negotiations.”
