On the occasion of ‘World Parkinson’s Disease Day’, Hyein Medical Foundation Korea Hospital (Director Han Seung-tae, Chairman Ko Heung-beom) will hold a health lecture on the 11th in the conference room on the 7th floor of the main building.

The lecture will be conducted under the theme of ‘Symptoms and Treatment of Parkinson’s Disease’ by Director Minju Yeo of the Brain Nervous Center of Jeju Hankook Hospital.

Parkinson’s disease is a representative degenerative brain disease caused by the gradual destruction of neurons that secrete dopamine, a brain neurotransmitter.

Every year, April 11th is celebrated as World Parkinson’s Day to honor the achievements of Dr.

Prior to the lecture, Director Minju Yeo said, “Parkinson’s disease can be maintained in daily life for more than 10 years if dopamine is supplemented through drug treatment and physical function is improved through steady exercise.” Since the disease does not develop, it is necessary to find the appropriate treatment suitable for the patient through precise diagnosis and implement it steadily.”
