In an interview with the Japanese magazine Famitsu tells Kojima about a new project which Kojima Productions is working on. It will be a new game, which is a big challenge for the company. According to Kojima, the boundaries of entertainment will fade in the future and the company will move one step closer to media and expression. It seems that Kojima Productions is going big.
So Kojima’s plan is to have several team up for his latest project. Kojima is very fond of movies himself, and often incorporates bits of film into his games. It could mean we get to see a short film about his new project. Kojima shares the following on Twitter:

What do we know about the new game?
What the project will look like is unknown, little has been shared about it yet. Going from his previous popular games, Death Stranding in Metal Gear Solid, the new project does not promise to be a simple game. His previous projects were relatively large, and if we are to believe Kojima this new project will be even bigger. It may just be that Kojima comes up with a major, multimedia project.
