Kites Break Up Becomes the Most Pirated WeTV Series

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Behind its huge success, serial Kite Broken it became the most pirated WeTV series.

This was stated directly by Lesley Simpson Country Head WeTV and iflix Indonesia.

“Kite Broken one of the worst titles for piracy. It’s not just bad, we’ll see a huge impact direct financially detrimental,” said Lesley Simpson when contacted Kompas.com some time ago.

Piracy is widely found in the Telegram application.

Lesley Simpson hopes the government will take firm action against the rampant cases piracy in the world of cinema.

“Because the losses we experienced were extraordinary. When asked to injure the industry, it was very hurtful,” said Lesley.

Furthermore, Lesley Simpson admitted that the loss almost reached the production costs incurred to make the series Kite Broken.

Kite Broken itself is a WeTV collaboration series with MD Entertainment.

This series features Reza Rahadian, Putri Marino, Anya Geraldine, and many others.
