The animated films included in the program have been made during the study process. Among the authors are already well-known directors – Edmunds Jansons, Gints Zilbalodis, Lizete Upīte, as well as young talents – Monta Andžejevska, Linda Stūre, Kerija Arne, Kate Rasa Ozola, Rasa Pavilona, Elīna Deinate. Their director Edmunds Jansons wrote his diploma work at the Estonian Academy of Arts, studying under the auspices of the world-famous author Prita Perna. Lizete Upīte has studied at four universities related to the film industry, but the short film included in this selection has been made in the prestigious La Poudriere animation school in France. Gints Zilbalodis studied at Jānis Rozentāls Art School, but his feature film debut We went acquired the skills necessary for creation by hand.
