foreplay

The returns of Gottvald and Úškrate ended with victories

Jan “JayJay” Gottvald is back in the cage after more than two years and his opponent was Brazilian Edilson Franca. Although the Brazilian tried to throw the home fighter, Honza took advantage of him in height and dominated his opponent’s position and won on points.

Rado Úškrt did not let his cage return to the point referee. He put incredible pressure on Ukrainian Kurdinov from the start and ended the match with a knockout after just 72 seconds.

Adam from Survivor finally the last survivor

Just four months of training and immediately the start of one of the biggest sporting events at home. Adam Reiter and Nathan Dzaba won their fans over in the toughest reality show Survivor, but the toughest test of their lives was yet to come.

In the cage they were supposed to settle the disputes from the island, and it must be added that they certainly did not spare themselves. Although from a technical point of view the inexperience in hitting was evident, both flew into the game at a rapid pace.

This proved fatal for Nathan, who evidently ran out of juice after two minutes of clinching. Adam got him under him mid-round and forced the referee to end the match early with hard punches.

Lewis finished the German champion of the challenge and challenged Boráros

James Lewis followed up on his wins early in the round by defeating first German Octagon Challenge Champion Selim Topuz. Even though he started the game a little better, landing some decent left hooks on his British juice, Lewis turned the game around.

Midway through the first round, the Brit caught his less experienced opponent with a solid high kick that sent Topuz to the ground. After dominating on the ground, Lewis then applied Rear Naked Choke and finished the game with 47 seconds left. After the win, he asked for a long-term contract in an interview and challenged his original opponent Gábor Boráros.

Brazilian Bueno didn’t give Mazúch a chance and used his black belt in BJJ

Professional soldier Marek Mazúch tasted the bitterness of defeat for the first time in his career as an MMA fighter. Brazilian Jorge Bueno moved all in on a card and used his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

From the very beginning of the fight he took the Slovak opponent under him and with his activity pressured to finish. Although Marek bravely resisted and defended himself from several difficult situations, in the end he had to fend off the strangulation.

After the match, Václav “Baba Jaga” Mikulášek came to the cage and challenged the Brazilians to fight each other. Bueno nodded to the challenge and both organized a match at Octagon 37 in Ostrava, held in early December.

Roušal showed extra class in a crazy clandestine match

Things got hot between the two weight fighters. The duel with changed underground rules for three rounds after three minutes began abruptly. The shots with the small gloves flew in the air from the first seconds of the game and you could hear every successful attempt.

The first round was dominated by Radek Roušal, who damaged Marko Bartl’s face with his hooks. At the end of the first round, he also opened his opponent him, but the match had an incredible pace in a shorter amount of time.

Although a close second round could have gone alongside Bartlo, Roušal left no doubts in the third round and delivered a dominant performance. A minute before the game ended, he even sent Bartle into the count with a right hook, and the point judges had an easy job.

Main board

Rony Paradeiser had a mature performance against Furtado

Rony Paradeiser was clearly the favorite among bookies to fight Iamik Furtado. He confirmed his role with a dominant performance in which he didn’t give his opponent the slightest chance.

The African started with hard low kicks, after which the Slovak wrestler chose a clear tactic to bring the African to the ground. Despite the opponent defending himself valiantly, the first round clearly went alongside the Slovakian wrestler.

At the start of the second round, Paradeiser knocked his opponent down after a hard blow and tried to finish him off. However, Furtado survived the predicament and ended the entire match. But the fight was clearly led by the Slovak and he unanimously won on points.

Pukáč completely hit Bol

The atmosphere before the fight between the Slovak fighters was tense, Bolo promised Pukač a difficult period. However, the opposite was true.

Robo Pukač mistreated his sock on the ground throughout the match and gave Bol no chance. Even though we haven’t seen many dangerous situations and it could have been a boring fight for the fans, Pukač needed this win and got it in a dominant way.

He reached and surprised Moon at the position

The pre-game cards were clearly dealt, but the game itself felt completely different. Moon was supposed to hold the fight in one stance and Kuba Dohnal was supposed to be a threat primarily in ground combat.

But the first round showed that the Czech fighter worked on his boxing skills and surprised the Canadian with hard punches. They shook the Canadian wrestler several times, who was unable to react to Dohnal’s amazing fighting style.

In the second round, Moon caught up with the Czech wrestler and caused damage under Dohnal’s left eye. However, both rounds were fairly even and the point judges finally awarded the victory to the Czech fighter by a split decision.

Kalashnik tactically outperformed Dos Santos at home

Andrei Kalashnik was looking forward to the home tournament. The Octagon granted him his wish and Brazilian tornado Joel Dos Santos got on his way to victory. The home fighter was a clear favorite among bettors and got the job done him. Maybe he wasn’t happy with his performance in the end, but victory matters.

From the beginning he has adopted a tactical approach, which we cannot be surprised by. The Brazilian’s wild floats flew around Kalashnik’s head, he then used the greater reach of him and fought mainly from the retreat with successful straight lines, which brought the home fighter the necessary victory. The advice from Martin Karaivanova and Jirka Procházka certainly helped.

Red finished Fodor 3 seconds before the end of the first round

The main pre-match certainly served its purpose. He drew fans to the main game of the gala with an attractive battle, dominated by Karol Ryšavý in a dominant fashion.

After the kick-off, Ryšavý brought Fodor to the ground and gave his opponent a bad blow with an arm triangle. But Fodor handled the predicament and the game resurfaced. Ten seconds before the end of the first round, however, Ryšavý brought Fodor to the ground with a hard blow and only won three seconds before the end of the first round.

Kincl demolished Lohoré and defended the championship belt

Those who expected a five-round battle were disappointed. The main match of the evening lasted less than two minutes and had a surprisingly clear course. Patrik Kincl showed a performance worthy of a champion and completely wiped out his challenger.

From the very first shots, it was clear who owns the Octagon today. The straights demolished the Frenchman and he was unable to find an answer to the hard blows of the Czech fighter. After a minute comes a spectacular high shot from Kincla, which makes Lohoré tremble, but it is only the right-handers to send the French to the ground.

Hard punches combined with elbows then forced the referee to end this one-sided fight early. Patrik Kincl thus unequivocally defended his middleweight champion belt. Although there was a question in the interview about a possible duel with Karlos Vémola, Patrik declined to comment on the situation with the rival.

Karlos thus took everything on his shoulders and, amid the roar of the fans present, entered the cage to challenge the newly crowned champion at the December tournament at the O2 Arena in Prague. However, Patrik Kincl and his incredible performance remained the king of the evening.
