Kim Si-woo tied for 25th at PGA Tour Houston Open 2R, which was suspended due to weather

Kim Si-woo (27) remained in the top 20 on day two of the Cadence Bank Houston Open (total prize of $8.4 million) on the PGA Tour, which was interrupted by bad weather.

Kim Si-woo tied 3 birdies and 2 bogies in the second round of the tournament held at Memorial Park Golf Course (par 70, 7,412 yards) in Houston, Texas, USA on the 12th (Korean time) and scored 1-under par 69.

Kim Si-woo, who tied for 24th with 2-under par in the first round, posted a total of 3-under-par 137 over the two days, and was tied for 25th.

However, there is a high possibility that the leaderboard will change after the round ends as around 60 players that day were unable to finish the second round due to bad weather and it was postponed to the next day.

Kim Si-woo, who has entered three tournaments this season and finished 8th at the Shriners Children’s Open last month, was the only one to score in the top 10 and continued to hope for a breakthrough in the rankings high school writing below par scores for two days in a row.

Tony Finau (USA), who was one of the co-leaders with 5 under par in the first round, placed 10 birdies and tied two bogeys to lead 8 under par and finished the second round with the only lead (13 under par, 127 strokes).

Finau, who is a 4-time PGA Tour winner, is aiming for his first win in 4 months since the Rocket Mortgage Classic in July.

He is four strokes behind second place Patrick Rodgers (USA, 9 under par 131 shots).

Tyson Alexander (USA) followed with 8-under par on 132, and Alex Noren (Sweden) scored an 8-under par up to the 15th hole of the second round, leaving room for the remaining match to close the gap to the leader.

James Han (USA) was tied for 5th place (7 strokes under par 133).

World No. 2 Scotty Scheffler (USA) is in the top 10 with 5 under par over 13 holes in round two.

Ahn Byeong-hun (31) and Kim Seong-hyeon (24) are posting interim scores of 3 under par with 8 holes left in round two, and Roh Seung-yeol (31) is in center with 1 under par until the 15th hole.
