Kanye West has attracted a lot of attention recently because he says he wants to participate in the presidential elections. Whether he is serious about that is unclear. He is too late in several states to run as an official candidate, but held this week a campaign meeting in South Carolina.
Stigma and misunderstandings
Many American media find his campaign difficult to follow and wonder if his bipolar disorder has anything to do with it. By speaking out now, Kardashian West hopes to address “the stigma and misunderstandings” surrounding bipolar disorder.
“People unfamiliar with disorders have a quick judgment,” says Kardashian West. “Family and friends can insist they seek help, but people with disabilities should want to do it themselves.”
