Il Kim Kardashian’s recent weight loss it has been labeled unhealthy and toxic
Kim has made headlines countless times in her life and even criticism is nothing new to her.
The 41-year-old is once again at the center of an online controversy this time around due to her recent weight loss.
Lately bragged about losing 10 pounds (16 lbs to be exact) in just three weeks to adjust to an iconic Marilyn Monroe dresshence a shower of criticism for her.
Her weight loss has been described as rapid and unhealthy.
Kim’s response was: “I have more energy than ever. I’ve eliminated so much sugar. I was eating a lot of junk food. I didn’t even realize it. Lots of fried foods. And I completely changed my lifestyle ”.
Kardashan claims that she is not urging other people to do like her: “I wasn’t telling people, why don’t you lose this weight in a short period of time?”
“For me it is normal to happen this way, Christian Bale can do it for a role in a movie and it’s acceptable, Renee Zellweger has also gained weight for a role. For me it is the same”.
The online reaction to Kardashian’s weight loss has by no means been entirely positive. Here are some comments from users on Twitter:
“Like others I have had an eating disorder for most of my life and my body perception has ruined my life to this day, I think this family needs serious help,” @barbscass wrote on Twitter.
“Literally? How do you lose 21 pounds in two months? It is absolutely not healthy or sustainable. “
Marilyn’s dress at the Met Gala
Kim also ended up in aanother controversy related to the dress of Marilyn Monroe worn during the MET Gala. Some images allegedly showing some damage to the back of the crystal-covered gown were circulated on social media earlier in the week.
However, the denials have already arrived: Amanda Joiner, Ripley’s vice president of publishing and licensing who accompanied the dress as it was transported from Florida to New York and even while Kardashian was wearing it, said that the conditions of the dress remained the same “From the bottom of the steps to the Met, where Kim entered the dress, to the top where it was returned.”
