A recent photo of Kim Kardashian raised eyebrows among fans: did she hide her belly button with Photoshop? “Nonsense”, the reality star now responds on Instagram.

Earlier this week it rained reactions to a photo of influencer Kim. In the picture she posed in Skims underwear, but the fans had their eyes for something else. Or better: for something that wasn’t there. The star’s navel was nowhere to be seen.

It’s not the first time Kardashian has come under fire for posting heavily edited photos on social media, but most of the time she’s been tight-lipped about her alleged Photoshop gaffes. This time, the reality star did respond. “Come on guys, seriously,” she wrote on Instagram. “This is so stupid, are you really saying I Photoshopped my belly button? You know how much aesthetics mean to my soul, right?” Kardashian asked her fans with a joke to immediately go to the Skims webshop. “So you can hide your belly button with a great pair of high-waisted knickers, like I did. You’re welcome!”

Confession

Later, Kardashian seemed surprised at how many fans gloated over the explanation of her “disappeared” belly button, and decided to take it one step further. “I Photoshopped Pete’s jawline off according to this article,” she wrote. Not so. “I did add a grainy filter. But it was definitely a photo of the moment itself.”

In the end, she does come up with a confession about another photo that created some controversy before. For example, a TikTok user discovered that the reality star had used the face of her niece True (the daughter of Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson) in a photo of Stormi (daughter of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott). “Okay, now that we’re in a circle of trust to be. I give the truth. You guys know I’m all for nice aesthetics, and my Instagram profile has been all blue and pink lately. The pictures from Disneyland were a perfect fit, but Kylie didn’t feel like having the pictures put online at the time and I respect that choice.”

For that reason, True’s face was photoshopped on top of Stormi. “Thank you True for choosing the team,” added Kim Kardashian. “Anyway, let’s focus on something else.”
