Kim Jae-won, “I’m very sorry, I will be careful” in the controversy over the recording of the 5 18 Constitution

People’s Power Supreme Commissioner Kim Jae-won attended the worship service of the far-right Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon and expressed his apology for making it clear that the spirit of May 18 could not be included in the Constitution.

Supreme Commissioner Kim wrote on his Facebook page this afternoon, “I am very sorry for causing concern to the people with all of my remarks that I mentioned in front of the church members while attending the service at Sarangjeil Church on the morning of March 12th.”

He added, “I will be careful in the future. We would also like to inform you that we will not oppose the publication of the preamble to the Constitution of the May 18th spirit.”

Previously, on the 12th, when Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon asked, “What do you think about putting the spirit of May 18 into the Constitution?”

In addition, to the question, “Is it lip service to Jeolla-do?”, controversy arose when he said, “Isn’t it politicians who sell ancestors’ graves to get votes?”
