There are still fans of the Kijang Innova Reborn. This is the sales figure throughout 2023.
Toyota is still selling the Kijang Innova Reborn even though there is the Innova Zenix. There are two variants of the Kijang Innova Reborn on offer, namely the diesel and petrol versions. There are also two transmission options, namely manual and automatic. Even though it is sold side by side with the latest generation, in fact the Kijang Innova Reborn is still in demand by the public.
Quoting wholesale data released by the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), distribution of Innova Reborn from factories to dealers throughout 2023 will reach 22,723 units. Wholesale sales of Innova Reborn are dominated by the diesel variant.
However, when compared to the Kijang Innova Zenix, sales of the Innova Reborn are still far away. In the same period, wholesale distribution of Innova Zenix reached 43,737 units. In total, distribution of the Kijang Innova model reached 66,460 units. This also makes the Kijang Innova the best-selling car in Indonesia throughout 2023.
The Kijang Innova displaces the Honda Brio which previously took the throne in 2022. There are various factors that make the Kijang Innova still in demand. Starting from the features presented to the resale value.
PT Toyota Astra Motor Marketing Director Anton Jimmi Suwandy once revealed that the Innova is a model that has quite a high resale value. Even the hybrid model also has good resale value.
“Mainly Avanza, Innova. Why, because the Kijang is decades old, the Avanza is relatively decades old,” explained Anton recently.
