With a last-minute goal, Kickers Offenbach won the small main derby against Eintracht Frankfurt II and clinched their first win of the season. After two defeats at the start, each of which only came about in the final minutes, the OFC defeated the Eintracht U21s 3-2 (1-0) on Sunday.

In a hard-fought game, the hosts got off to a dream start in front of more than 7,800 spectators. Newcomer Dimitrij Nazarov scored early to make it 1-0 (1st minute) after a corner. OFC striker Mike Feigenspann then had two chances to increase, but failed because of the strong Eintracht goalkeeper Simon Simoni. The OFC played much better than in the first two games of the season. The Eintracht reserve was also courageous and had chances to score.

Eintracht striker Nacho as a tragic figure

The visitors got off to a better start after the break. Noel Futkeu equalized (54th) after a fine pass from the Spaniard Nacho. As a result, the young Eintracht-Adler made the better team. Nacho then made it 2-1 (79′). But the Spaniard then became a tragic figure and headed a Nazarov shot into his own goal (83′). When everything looked like a draw, OFC captain Maximilian Rossmann scored in injury time to win.

The OFC will play their next game on Saturday at TSG Hoffenheim II. The Eintracht U-21s will welcome FC 08 Homburg on Wednesday, who sensationally knocked out newly promoted Bundesliga club Darmstadt with a 3-0 win in the DFB Cup.
