Kia has received the Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS) for updated fastback Stingerpresented in summer 2020. Russian sales of the car, which has passed all the necessary certification tests, will start next year, the press service of the South Korean brand reports.
The updated Kia Stinger can be distinguished from its predecessor thanks to the upgraded front and rear optics. An LED strip appeared at the stern connecting the lights.
Interior customization includes Nappa leather and carbon fiber or aluminum look. In addition, there is a new 10.25-inch multimedia display in the cabin, replacing the previous 8-inch screen.
As before, the Kia Stinger will be offered with a two-liter supercharged “four”, available in two stages of boost: 197 and 247 horsepower. In addition, the engine lineup includes a 370-horsepower 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. All units work together with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
The Russian premiere of the updated Kia Stinger will take place in 2021. Data on prices and trim levels will be released later.
