The Continental Hockey League has notified the clubs that a preliminary date has been set for the start of the regular season-2020/2021 season on September 2, 2020. Date agreed with the Russian Hockey Federation.
The league notes the following: the start date of the championship will primarily depend on the criteria for the epidemiological situation associated with the spread of coronavirus infection and the gradual removal of restrictive measures both in the regions of the Russian Federation and in countries whose clubs are represented in the KHL.
The league closely monitors the situation and if it changes to tighten restrictive measures at venues or if health risks arise for the championship participants, the necessary adjustment will be made according to the terms and conditions of its conduct.
