Jean-Marc Bellaiche, Chairman of the Printemps group since October 2020, whose mission is to relaunch growth and accelerate the internationalization and digitalization of Printemps, sees the departure of two heavyweights from its Comex.

Two experts in the digital transformation of brands

Maud Funaro joined the Printemps group in 2021 as Chief Transformation Officer, in charge of steering the Group’s transformation project and driving new development projects. She left the brand last July. She is now Chief Operating Officer of Wendel, an investment company.

A graduate of HEC, Sciences-Po, ENSAE, then of the London School of Economics, Maud Funaro began her career in teaching and research in economics. In 2005, she joined the Treasury Department at Bercy and after two years, became permanent rapporteur at the Competition Authority, in charge of retail matters in particular. Between 2010 and 2014, within the Boston Consulting Group, a strategy consulting firm, she developed expertise in the luxury and retail sectors, which she then completed with operational and entrepreneurial experience by becoming general manager of a lingerie brand from Lejaby. In 2016, she headed Strategy, Digital and Innovation at E. Leclerc, working alongside Michel-Edouard Leclerc, where she notably developed new omnichannel concepts and services in line with new consumer needs.

Mathieu Staat also on the start

Mathieu State joins the Printemps Group in 2021 and joins the Executive Committee as Omnichannel CEO. He confirmed to Retail Republic his next departure in November.

Graduated from ESCP – EAP and a 3e cycle at the University of Paris Panthéon Sorbonne, Mathieu Staat began his career at Accor, where for twelve years within the group he successively held positions related to loyalty building, brand development, project coordination, then finally Director of Digital Marketing, CRM and Customer Relations.

He then spent 4 years at Fnac as Marketing Director. In 2012 he joined L’Occitane where he took on the role of International Digital and CRM Director. In 2018, Mathieu Staat joined Sephora as Digital and Customer Marketing Director Europe and Middle East.
