The court’s decision came in favor of Costner, at the end of a two-day evidence hearing, and each party presented its documents and papers, which made the compass point towards Costner’s victory, especially with the emergence of evidence of his ex-wife’s extravagance.
The newspaper stated that during the court sessions, Kevin’s revenues were divested, whether from the seasons of the “Yellowstone” series, or his project that he wants to implement titled “Horizon”, and the profits he achieved, so he and his lawyers confirmed that the profits were clarified in the trial bonds.
And he considered that he would be forced to do work below his level and exceed his financial capabilities, in the event that his ex-wife was granted the amount of money she wanted per month, in light of the Hollywood strike, the halt of production, and the termination of his contract with the company that produced the “Yellowstone” series.
And while he considered that he was not evading his responsibilities, Costner’s lawyers team saw that his ex-wife plans to live on child support payments, and wants to enjoy, in addition to her own money and alimony funds, the assets of minor children, although she received $ 1.5 million after the divorce.
Very bad life after divorce
For her part, Baumgartner tried to promote that her children were living the life of kings before the divorce, but after that they were going through severe financial crises, so the lawyers confronted her that she had an emotional relationship with a family friend and spent on him, as well as buying expensive gifts for her family.
She denied the matter, and indicated that she had borrowed an amount from her brother in order to be able to live. Costner’s lawyers provided papers and evidence indicating that he paid him the debt three times, and bought her mother a new luxury car.
A new rule in the divorce journey
After arguments and papers and pleadings from lawyers, the court ruled its decision in favor of Costner, who will return within two weeks to court to confront his ex-wife again, with a case related to the value of prenuptial contracts compensation.
Last May, Baumgartner filed a lawsuit from her husband, actor Kevin Costner, after a marriage that lasted 18 years and produced three children, who are still underage. She obtained her request as a result of the husband’s non-objection.
