JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk or PGN approve changes to the company’s management.

PGN, which previously had the status of BUMN, has again raised it Paiman Raharjo as an independent commissioner. Paiman Raharjo’s profile has been known as a volunteer for Jokowi’s victory during the last presidential election.

Paiman Raharjo is known to have served as Chairman of Jokowi’s Sedulur Volunteers, one of the volunteers who expressed support and made efforts to win Jokowi as President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Meanwhile, seen from the official PGN website, Wednesday (5/5/2021), Paiman Raharjo has served as Commissioner of PGN since 2015.

Apart from serving as a commissioner in a state-owned subsidiary, Paiman Raharjo is also listed as still serving as a Commissioner of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, one of the BUMD companies that distribute rice belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Paiman Raharjo’s career has been largely spent in academia. He is listed as a Professor of Administration Science at the Postgraduate Program at Moestopo Beragama University.

This man with the title of professor is also a doctoral graduate of Administration Science, Padjajaran University, Bandung.

Apart from Paiman Raharjo, another supporter of Jokowi during the presidential election, namely Dini Shanti Purwono, was appointed as Commissioner of PGN.

Dini Shanti Purwono has been known as the Special Staff of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi. From his track record, Dini Shanti Purwono’s profile was also known as a former legislative candidate for the DPR from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).

During the last Pileg contest, he ran as a candidate for people’s representatives to represent the Central Java Electoral District, which includes Semarang Regency, Semarang City, Kendal Regency, and Salatiga City.

Even though she represents the Central Java Electoral District, Dini Shanti Purwono, who was born in 1974, comes from Jakarta.

This woman who was born in Jakarta in 1974 was also elected as the spokesperson for the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin’s National Campaign Team (TKN) during the 2019 Presidential Election yesterday.

Dini has an educational background in the world of law. He studied S1 at the University of Indonesia. Then, Dini continued her Masters at Harvard Law School and graduated in 2002.

He once coached the “Legal Clinic” column in the Jawa Pos Radar Semarang daily. Then, Dini is also known to have been a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Peradi) for about 10 years, namely in 2008-2018.

With a background in the legal world, Dini was also trusted to be one of the lawyers who defended Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin to face the 2019 Presidential Election dispute at the Constitutional Court (MK).

Before being appointed as Jokowi’s special staff, Dini was also an expert staff of the Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) during 2012-2014.

Not only that, he was also an expert staff of former Finance Minister Chatib Basri. President Jokowi in his statement revealed that all special presidential staff can work together well.
