Kerala Sahitya Akademi Awards 2022 announced. Six people received the overall contribution award. Srikrishnapuram Krishnankutty, John Samuel, KP Sudheera, Dr. Pallipuram Murali, Dr. Ratheesh Saxena, Dr. (Kerala Sahitya Akademi Awards 2022) for overall contribution to PK Sukumaran.
‘Sambarkakranti’ by V. Shinilal is the best novel. The best short story is ‘Muzhakama’ by PF Mathews. NG Unnikrishnan’s ‘Katalas Vidya’ won the best poetry award.
Dr. MM Basheer and N. Prabhakaran have received the Academy Fellowship this year. Jayant Kamicheril’s ‘Kurtamketta Likhitamlan’ by a Kumarakamkaran won the award for comedy. V. Ravikumar also received the award for translation through Baudelaire.
Dr. PP Prakashan, GB Mohanthambi, Shaukath, Vinil Paul, P. Pavithran, Alina, Akhil.K and V.K.Anilkumar were awarded with the endowment awards.
