If you think of songs like “Danger Zone” o “Footloose” I am sure that great moments from historical films that are still seen today come to mind. Well, the magician who made these soundtracks for the movies ‘Top Gun’ and his own ‘Footloose’ is named Kenny Logginsand yesterday he announced that he was retiring from the stage, but with a final tour that will begin in March.

This series of concerts are under the name ‘This Is It’, and will begin on March 10 in Sarasota, Florida. And from there it will have 11 dates until on October 27 of this year that will end his career en el YouTube Theater de Inglewood, California.
“It’s been an incredible journey since I started with Jimmy Messina in 1971, and I’m lucky to have had such a long touring career,” Loggins said in a press release. “I don’t see this as the end of my professional career, but certainly as a stop on the road to big tours.”
“I will play songs that I think sum up the emotional history of my music,” added Loggins. “This will include 90% of the hits and 10% or so of the deepest cuts.”
Finally, Loggins himself has admitted that there is no specific reason why he launched this tour, just that “after spending a lifetime on the road” he wants time at home.
