Kelly Pfaff has warned her husband Sam Gooris. She saw the same thing happen to her father and former international Jean-Marie Pfaff.
Kelly and Sam went to Japan with their family for the last edition of ‘Expeditie Gooris’. “I especially learned that you have to be open-minded,” she explains in Dag Allemaal. “You shouldn’t always compare, every culture is different, every country has a different history or culinary experience. The moment you embrace all that, you can enjoy it much more. So experience it without judging, and see what you like and what you don’t.”
Sam Gooris in particular initially did not want to travel much. Fortunately, that has now changed for him and the family. “The difference was that I had already seen that with my father. So I have always warned Sam about that pitfall,” said Kelly.
