RIGA. Kazakhstan won its first match in the basic B-group of the World Hockey Championship in 2021. Home Latvia defeated 3: 2 after separate raids.

The players of Kazakhstan have returned to the elite category of the World Cup after five years. The Latvians did not follow up with a surprising loss victory over Canada 2: 0.
