Katrina Kovaluk: Rising Star of the Fourth Season, Musician, and Multitalented Artist

We met Katrina Kovaluk in the fourth season of the show, when the girl tried to get into the Busulis team, but the last member “took” her chair, the young woman returns stronger, more self-confident and even more musical.

Katrina has used the time to perform in small concerts, create new songs and make sure that she wants the big stage.

About Katrina’s performance, Intar says that the young woman demonstrates how easy it is to just be in the music and enjoy it. The musician even apologized to the singer for sending her home last season.

The participant of the show studies animation at the Latvian Academy of Arts, she also sings, takes photographs, draws and likes to roller skate.

Even last season, Katrina revealed that she adores giving clothes a “second life”, so she looks for clothes in second-hand clothing stores, “pearl hunting” is a kind of passion.

In the television selection, Katrina performed the song “Echo” by Olivia Dean, and in the “chair challenge” she chose the hit “Sunrise” by Norah Jones.

16-year-old high school student Daniels Širmanis studies at Ventspils State 1st Gymnasium, is the chairman of the school’s self-administration, while finding time for homework, volleyball and folk dances.

The participant of the show suspects that perfectionism can hinder him in the show, because he always thinks he can do better, this quality can either sink or help. Daniel names persistence and love for what he does as values.

Intar is pleased with the fact that there are very few singing boys who are in Daniel’s age group, if the young man managed to put aside the movements characteristic of an ensemble, then he would become even more authentic on stage.
