TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge self-isolating after coming into contact with someone who tests positive Covid-19, Kensington Palace confirm.
“Last week The Duchess of Cambridge came into contact with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19,” a palace spokesperson said in a statement obtained Insider.
“His Majesty is not experiencing any symptoms, but he is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home,” the statement added.
Kate Middleton got the news on Friday (2/7/2021) afternoon after attending the Wimbledon tournament in London, Daily Mail royal editor Rebecca English wrote on Twitter.

Rebecca added that the duchess had received a full COVID-19 vaccination.
Middleton had several meetings last week.
He watched England play Germany at UEFA Euro 2020 at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, alongside Prince William and their son, Prince George.
“The Duchess had several tests before the events at Euro and Wimbledon and both were negative,” a source close to the palace told Insider.
“He followed the rules throughout Wimbledon about when to wear a mask.”

The source added, Middleton did a test Covid-19 twice a week as part of a royal rule.
