PSI General Chair Kaesang Pangarep went on a political safari to Wonosobo, Central Java after presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo visit that area. Ganjar responded casually to this.
“Yes, you can,” he said Reward in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (20/12/2023).
It is known that Ganjar arrived in Wonosobo first on Monday (18/12) morning. Kaesang himself arrived in Wonosobo in the evening.
Ganjar said anyone can go on safari anywhere during the current campaign period. Ganjar said there were no violations related to this.
“Anyone can come anywhere, because space for expression, space for communication, is available. Nothing will be violated. Welcome,” he said.
Kaesang’s response
Kaesang opened his voice regarding the location of his political safari being the same as Ganjar. He said it was just a coincidence.
“Well, if this is not intentional,” said Kaesang in Banjarnegara, Central Java, Tuesday (19/12).
Kaesang admitted that he did not know the schedule and location of Ganjar’s political safari. According to him, it would not be a problem if he also visited the same location as other presidential candidates, including Ganjar.
“It’s impossible for me to know Mr. Ganjar’s schedule, it’s also impossible for the team to know. It’s just a coincidence that we both went to Wonosobo,” said Kaesang.
“And I don’t think there’s a problem, if Mr. Ganjar goes to Wonosobo, I’ll go to Wonosobo. Or, for example, if Mr. Anies goes to Wonosobo, after that I also go to Wonosobo, I don’t think it’s a problem,” he added.
