[인사이드비나=이용진 기자/ 호치민, 윤준호 기자] ‘K-Global@Vietnam (K-Global)’ held in Ho Chi Minh City by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and the Korea Software Industry Association to strengthen digital cooperation between Korea and Vietnam and support domestic digital companies to enter the Vietnamese market. @Vietnam) The 2023′ event has achieved good results.

K-Global@Vietnam 2023, which was held for two days on the 8th and 9th, was attended by 40 domestic digital companies, 4 immersive media digital innovation sharing universities, and 100 Vietnamese buyers and investors.

At the Korea-Vietnam Digital Technology Cooperation Forum on the first day of the event, about 100 people from the government, academia, and businesses participated in various discussions on the theme of ‘Korea-Vietnam Digital Technology Cooperation Plan for Digital Leadership in ASEAN’.

Prior to the forum, 2nd Vice Minister of Science and ICT Park Yun-gyu met with Vietnam’s Vice Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung to discuss ways to promote cooperation between digital companies of the two countries and expand cooperation related to digital transformation.

Four business agreements were also signed to solidify cooperation in the digital field between agencies under the Ministry of Science and ICT of the two countries and between digital companies.

The business agreement is ▲Joint development of smart mobility solutions in Vietnam (G-Bike, Bespin Global, Daewoo E&C-Vietnamese electronic payment company Momo) ▲Digital media contents such as online video service (OTT) (Content Wave-DotVietPark) ▲Automatic virtual account in Vietnam Transfer service (Pin-Twin-MB Bank under the Ministry of National Defense) ▲Digital solidarity and business support cooperation between the two countries (National IT Industry Promotion Agency-Vietnam) Technology companies and commercialization development bureau), etc.

30 domestic ICT companies leading next-generation digital technologies such as smart city, AI, 5G, and IoT participated in the export consultation, 65 Vietnamese buyers visited, and 171 export consultations and business networking were conducted.

On the 9th, the second day of the event, an investment cooperation company briefing (IR) was held with 10 domestic digital companies along with an export consultation.
