Italian record champion Juventus Torino captain Giorgio Chiellini has revealed that he had a strong dislike for his teammate Gonzalo Higuain today. That died down when the Argentine came to the Bianconeri from Napoli in 2016.
Interview with La Repubblica Chiellini confessed: “Whether I hated an opponent? Higuain. But when I met him I was surprised. Strikers are selfish and do their thing. But he’s also selfless and playful. He needs encouragement and support.” Higuain also has “incredible potential”, the veteran continued to enthuse.

The former Real Madrid striker moved to Turin in 2016 for 90 million euros from Naples, where he scored on the assembly line. Alongside Chiellini, he won the Scudetto twice, among other things.
