Juvat gives positive update after impressive shoot The Perfect Picture

“This was a very difficult shoot. But also very personal, I did that myself”, Juvat looks back Behind The Perfect Picture. “I had to photograph a hero in a triptych. You had to be able to see from the photos why he or she is a hero to you, that is of course a very personal assignment. What makes someone a hero?”

Juvat decided to choose a personal hero: a close friend of his with cancer. “She has had – if I say it right – eleven courses of chemotherapy, and three weeks before this shoot she had a stem cell transplant. That is very heavy.”

He continues: “She is so positive, that is her strength. Despite battling such a terrible disease – and being tired of it and in pain – she keeps that positivity and is a mother to her child , a wife for her husband. I think that’s very, very, very special.”

the former GTST-star is happy to announce that my girlfriend is now doing much better. “She’s doing very well now,” he says with a big smile on his face. “She recently got a call from her doctor, her doctor, that she’s cancer-free. So that’s really great news.”

Despite the impressive story, the high marks from the jury unfortunately failed to materialize. “Looking back, I may have let myself be taken over by my own emotional connection with her, and looked less closely at what the assignment was,” admits Juvat. He also says that he already saw his exit coming: “I also knew that I had not completely adhered to the assignment. So I understand very well that the end of the story is here. And yet: if I could do it again I wouldn’t do it any other way.”

Bridget Maasland, who lost weight last week, also did in Behind The Perfect Picture her story and told that despite everything she still feels like a winner. “It is of course not fun to lose weight so close to the final, you also want to make it to that final. On the other hand: in principle I was allowed to do all the assignments and at a certain point it became a repetition, if I’m honest,” said the presenter.
