Saturday February 19, the day after the first show of his “Justice” world tour in San Diego (USA), singer Justin Bieber tested positive for Covid-19, reports the “Journal de Montréal”.
Consequently, the show which was scheduled for Sunday evening February 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada, has been canceled and will be postponed to a later date during the summer. “Due to a positive case in the touring team, we unfortunately have to postpone the concert scheduled for Sunday in Las Vegas. Justin is very disappointed, but the health and safety of his team and his fans is his priority,” said a spokesperson for Justin Bieber on Saturday February 19.
Other canceled dates?
Regarding his symptoms, the artist is said to be in mild form and doing well. It remains to be seen whether other concerts will be canceled. The next ones are scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, near Glendale, Arizona, and Thursday, February 24, in Los Angeles.
