Justien Odeurs, keeper of the Red Flames, about her job as …

The Agency for Care and Health is further reducing the number of contact investigators to 150. Justien Odeurs, the goalkeeper of the Red Flames who started working as a contact investigator at the beginning of May, is thinking about quitting. “Sometimes we had to keep ourselves busy. Then I watched Netflix ”, she tells Het Belang Van Limburg.

She is perhaps the best-known contact investigator in the country. Justien Odeurs, goalkeeper for the Red Flames and RSC Anderlecht, sat on the phone at CallExcell in early May. In the meantime, Truiense has already finished her job as a contact researcher. “The preparations for the coming season have started again, so I still work three days a week at CallExcell. I am thinking of quitting as a contact investigator. This way I can give my place to someone else who really needs the job. After all, I still have an income. ”

Moreover, the new job did not fully meet expectations for Odeurs. During her training she emphasized how much she wanted to have something to do again, but boredom also struck during office hours.

“There was not much work to do,” admits Odeurs. “The number of infections decreased and not all contact details reached us. That is why we sometimes had to listen in on someone who did have a conversation, or we got extra information about the corona virus through game forms. But it also happened regularly that we had to keep ourselves busy. And yes, then I watched Netflix. And I was not alone. ”
