Justice adapts by telematic means to the new normality | Radio Valencia | Present

The Generalitat has established a system that allows, from the courtroom and with a minimum of staff, that all parties are telematically present in a lawsuit and, in addition, has spent twelve million euros on a new recording system that allows something that until now was impossible: incorporate documents. In this way, as Minister Gabriela Bravo has explained, trials can be held normally.

By the way, the Generalitat has implemented 63 specific contingency plans for each of the judicial headquarters of the Region. A plan that has cost three million euros that includes specific measures adapted to the situation of each of these judicial headquarters.

Each plan contemplates Specific measures for each headquarters such as the control of the capacity in each and every one of the dependencies of the judicial building, the disposition of the civil servants and civil servants in the jobs, the installation of more than 400 screens in the points of attention to the public , the marking of internal routes, the reorganization of accesses, extraordinary cleaning and disinfection actions and, finally, the supply and distribution of individual protection elements such as masks and gloves for the insoles.

In general terms, the maximum capacity of each judicial building has been limited to a third and, in addition, 1,800 separating posts, 2,200 posters, more than 600 dispensers have been installed for which more than 8,500 liters of disinfectant gel have been purchased.

In the province of Valencia

Have been drawn up 33 contingency plans for as many buildings distributed among the 17 judicial districts with a budget of 1.4 million euros. As is logical given its size, it is the City of Justice in the capital that takes most of this investment with a total of 733,000 euros.

A maximum capacity is established for the entire City of Justice of Valencia of 3,927 people who can be in the complex at the same time maintaining a safety distance of two meters. It should be remembered that the City of Justice is designed to house more than 13,000 people among about 2,000 workers and a maximum flow of 11,000 a day.

The control will be established with an electronic system that, through cameras, will supervise the effective compliance of the safety distance by the public to avoid concentrations. This system is also capable of counting the number of people inside the complex and alerting the Civil Guard officers of the Control Center (CECON) when the capacity is close to reaching its maximum point.

This electronic counting system has also been installed in the City of Justice of Castellón, in Elche, Benidorm and in the Aguilera and Pardo Gimeno judicial buildings in Alicante.

In the rest of the judicial headquarters, the control of the capacity will be carried out manually by the Civil Guard at the entrances to each court so that in no case should it exceed 30 percent of the maximum capacity of each property.

In the province of Castellón

In the province of Castellón, six contingency plans have been drawn up for as many buildings as the City of Justice of the capital, and the courts of Vila-real, Nules, Segorbe and the two headquarters of those of Vinaroz. Preparing all these venues to undertake the respective phases of the return to judicial normality has involved an investment of 332,000 euros.

In the case of the largest judicial complex in the province, the City of Justice in the capital of La Plana, a maximum capacity of 1,193 people is established when the Bulevar de Vicente Blasco Ibáñez building has a capacity of around 3,600 people.

In the province of Alicante

Have been drawn up 18 contingency plans for a park of buildings of particular complexity due to dispersion of headquarters that occurs in the capital where there are judicial offices in seven different locations. To these must be added the plans drawn up for the courts of Alcoy, Benidorm, Dénia, Elche, Elda, Novelda, the two offices of Orihuela, San Vicent del Raspeig, Torrevieja and Villena. A total of 1.1 million euros will be invested in these plans

In the case of the courts of the judicial district of Alicante, a maximum capacity has been established among the seven venues of 1,702 people when, under normal circumstances, these facilities would house just under 5,100 people
