Jürgen Klinsmann’s mother Martha died at the age of 82.

Martha Klinsmann, the mother of ex-national coach Jürgen Klinsmann (56), died on April 8th at the age of 82 as a result of an illness, as reported by the “Stuttgarter Nachrichten”.
On Friday she was buried in the closest family circle in Stuttgart. Until then, the family is said to have tried to keep their death a secret so that they could say goodbye in peace. Jürgen Klinsmann, who lives with his family in the USA, traveled to Germany for the funeral.
Martha Klinsmann was a “family man” and “workhorse”
Martha Klinsmann was a little celebrity herself with her own bakery in the Botnang district of Stuttgart. A regular customer describes the mother of four sons as a “family man” and “workhorse”. Martha Klinsmann was “always down to earth, friendly, open, very humorous, positive and very generous”.
Martha Klinsmann’s bakery, which was literally besieged by journalists during the 2006 World Cup in Germany by her famous son, had to close in June 2020 because there was no successor in the family to take over the business.
