The recordings for the film Jurassic World: Dominion have been completed after a year and a half and 40,000 corona tests. Producer Universal had set up its own medical center for the realization of the film, reports Deadline.
Director Colin Trevorrow tells the American entertainment website that he can barely put the recordings into words. “Everyone worked around the clock to make the most of it. It was very inspiring.”
Filming was postponed in February and resumed in July. After positive corona tests, filming had to stop. A total of one hundred employees on the set were tested positive. However, due to the delay, designers were able to recreate more and better dinosaurs, which ultimately reduced the use of special effects.
1,800 warning signs and own test streets
The costs for the film amount to 165 million dollars (converted more than 138 million euros). According to Deadline In addition to thousands of corona tests, millions have been spent establishing corona protocols (including own testing lanes, doctors and nursing staff, and 1,800 warning signs) and quarantining actors and employees together for months.
The costs of reducing the risks of contamination would be about 5 to 6 million euros.
The movie, with a cast of both old (Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern) and recent ones Jurassic Park– in Jurassic Worldactors (Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard), is currently being edited. When the film can be seen in the cinema, it is not reported.
