GridOto.com – Racing MotoGP Styria 2020 (23/8/2020) was stopped alias red flag because of the crash incident Maverick Vinales.
The incident occurred on lap 17, starting when Maverick Vinales want to do braking at the first corner of the Red Bull Ring Circuit, Austria.
He seemed to lose control and could not slow down the motorbike.
Vinales prefers to jump from his motorcycle as an update to save himself.

The Spaniard falls off the track after the bike appears to have a brake problem and the bike is on fire!

His Yamaha YZF-R1 also hit the circuit barrier until it caught fire.
Fortunately Maverick Vinales survived the incident and was not injured.
Maybe some of you are curious, how come the Spanish racer can survive even though he jumps from his motorbike at high speed?
For information, since 2018 the use of racing jackets, aka wearpacks with airbag technology, has become a mandatory regulation.
