Julio Zamora inaugurated a new square in Troncos del Talar – Latest News from North Zone | North News

The mayor of Tigre, Julio Zamora, together with the councilwoman Gisela Zamora inaugurated the Bicentennial Square, located on Alexis Carrel street between Austria and Mármol, in the town of Troncos del Talar. It is public space No. 72 renovated by the Municipality, which now has inclusive games and aerobics, ping pong and soccer tennis courts, street furniture, new sidewalks and LED lighting.

In this regard, the communal chief said: “This policy has the objective that the entire community find a quality place to meet. It is added to another important work for this town, which is the inauguration of the new building of Secondary School No. 19 a few days ago. We keep thinking about what is going to come for Troncos del Talar in terms of works, such as sewers, gas networks and LED lights, interventions that are going to substantially change this city. The Municipality is committed to constant progress and, hand in hand with the national government, we are going to fulfill the commitments that we had pending.”

The event started with the magician Reymon’s show. Subsequently, the traditional ribbon cutting was carried out, inaugurating the square. Next, a commemorative plaque with the name of the space was unveiled. Then, the red bench was presented in allusion to the victims of femicides and gender violence, the green dedicated to respect for childhood and the pink referred to the fight against breast cancer. Finally, local authorities together with neighbors planted a Lapacho tree as a symbol of the growth of the city.

«Together with Mayor Julio Zamora we continue working to bring works to all the neighborhoods of Tigre. These public spaces ensure that kids have quality games to play. It fills me with joy to see the families enjoy, the neighbors recovered this place through the comprehensive renovation, which makes the area safer, “said Councilor Gisela Zamora.

The resident of Troncos del Talar, Luciano, mentioned: «This place is good for kids who want to have fun and for families who want to have some mates. I have lived here for 20 years and I am very happy with Mayor Julio Zamora, because this work is what was needed and it was the best thing he could have done with this space».

To date, plazas and aerobic paths have been remodeled in El Talar, General Pacheco, Benavídez, Don Torcuato, Tigre Centro, Rincón de Milberg, Dique Luján, Nuevo Delta, Ricardo Rojas and Troncos del Talar. It is part of a public policy promoted by the Municipality to recondition all public spaces in the district.
