Manchester United are reportedly ready to meet River Plate star Julian Alvarez’s agent to arrange his transfer.
According to TyC Sports, the Red Devils have contacted striker Fernando Hidalgo’s agent “with the clear intention” of arranging a meeting to take place after December 31st.
The 21-year-old has a contract with the Argentine giant until December 31, 2022.
But River Plate aren’t ready to let the Argentina international go in January and their release clause calls for € 20m.
Meanwhile, Juventus star Alvaro Morata has agreed to join Barcelona ahead of the January transfer window, reports say.
However, Juventus won’t agree to let Morata go unless they find a replacement like ManUnited ace Edinson Cavani who has been linked.
This comes from the Gazzetta dello Sport, which reports that Barcelona have agreed personal terms with the striker and are waiting for the Serie A giant.
Finally, Real Madrid have ended their hunt for United star Paul Pogba and turned their attention to Ajax’s Ryan Gravenburch, reports say.
Calciomercato claim Carlo Ancelotti was behind the decision because he believes Gravenbrich is a better fit with Real’s image.
Los Blancos, however, still have to deal with super agent Mino Raiola, who represents both midfielders.
