Julian Joseph (1966) one of the greatest and most influential British jazz musicians. He has dedicated his career to popularizing jazz music all over the world, and has become known and loved by the public both as an excellent pianist, composer and arranger, as well as a knowledgeable and interesting ambassador of jazz music.
In the concert garden “Pūt, vējini!” the outstanding jazz artist together with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of chief conductor Guntas Kuzmas will play “Rhapsody in Blue” by the legendary American jazz composer and pianist George Gershwin.
The concert program also includes works by Leonard Bernstein, Camille Sensans, Georges Bizet and other composers.
