Throughout his years-long career, actor Tom Cruise (60) has had to endure a lot of pepper.
This time, the “Top Gun” star is examined by director Judd Apatow (55).

Joking about the height
During the opening of The Guild of America awards, Apatow sent a few jabs at Cruise, including about his height. Cruise is 170 centimeters tall.
– The special effects in “Maverick” were so good. I couldn’t see the stack of phone books Tom Cruise put on to reach the levers on the plane, Apatow joked from the stage, according to Independent.

Cruise was not present during the award ceremony, and has not yet commented on the incident.
Apatow also joked about the actor’s affiliation with the much-debated Church of Scientology.
– Every time he does one of the new stunts, it feels like an advertisement for Scientology. Is it in dianetics? Because there is nothing about jumping off a cliff in the Torah.
Dianetics is an alternative medical form of treatment within Scientology. The Torah is Judaism’s first and holiest collection of religious texts.
The actor has been a member of the Church of Scientology for 30 years, and has repeatedly defended the controversial religion, describing it as “beautiful”.
Not seen since 2007
Cruise has been criticized several times for being a member of the religion. In January, it was a topic on stage during the Golden Globes, when comedian Jerrod Carmichael (35) took a swipe at the “Maverick” actor.

Miscavige is a member of the Church of Scientology, and is married to the church’s leader David Miscavige. She has not been seen in public since 2007.
