The market closes its doors on Tuesday evening. Smith’s signing in Los Angeles must therefore take place before. The two parties have been in discussions for several days to find the right deal, no worries. The shooter will therefore be back on the floors, and alongside LeBron James. The Lakers, sources say, will finalize a deal for the rest of the season with JR Smith before the NBA transaction window closes at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
Rosters for the NBA takeover at Walt Disney World are to be donated to the league on Wednesday.
Swish’s comeback will be scrutinized very closely after more than a year away from the NBA floors. Avery Bradley brought a lot to the Angelinos with his defense and his three points, so it will be up to JR to try to do as well … even better. A task far from easy, but the Lakers obviously have confidence in him, and we imagine that the King has given his approval.
JR Smith is finally back in the NBA. Needless to say, his first matches will be very popular with fans, especially those of the Lakers.
