Josephine Chaplin passed away at the age of 74. Chaplin was an actress and a daughter of world famous filmmaker Charlie Chaplin. She passed away in Paris on July 13, but her death was not announced until Friday.
Josephine Chaplin made her film debut in 1952 Limelight. The film was written and produced by her father. She also starred in his last movie: A Countess from Hong Kong (1967).
Apart from her father, the actress has starred in several films, including The Canterbury Tales (1972) by director Pier Paolo Pasalini and Red Nights (1974) van Georges Franju.
Chaplin was one of eight children born to Charlie Chaplin and his fourth wife. He himself died in 1977.
