Josè! RI coal is being sold more and more in Europe, this country joins the message

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia Indonesian coal is selling well. Ever since the war between Russia and Ukraine broke out, European countries have been looking for substitutes for their coal imports to Indonesia. It should be noted, until now, that coal orders from Indonesia continue to grow.

As of September 2022, Indonesian coal orders arrived from several European countries such as Poland, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain and Germany. More recently, the Indonesian Coal Mining Association (APBI) noted that Indonesia also exports coal to Slovenia.

“I don’t know exactly about the additional exports due to their nature Bussines to Bussines (B to B). In fact, there are also deliveries to countries like Greece, Slovenia, although not a lot, “said Hendra Sinadia, executive director of APBI at CNBC Indonesia on Monday (10/24/2022).

Earlier, in September 2022, in the unofficial APBI, the number of coal exports from Indonesia to European countries reached 3.5 million tons to 4 million tons. He exports to Europe with that amount, Hendra said being the first largest in history.

Hendra said that compared to previous years, the volume of Indonesian coal exports to Europe was generally less than 1 million tons per year. “Of course there is a significant increase in this number. This is not an official figure, if it is that quantity (4 million tons) this is the largest (in history),” Hendra explained to CNBC Indonesia on Tuesday (4 / 9/2022).

Hendra was unable to say for sure which European countries ordered coal from Indonesia. What is clear is that Hendra has received the news that Indonesia’s coal exports to European countries have been sent to Poland, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain and Germany. “That’s exactly like 3.5 million tons – 4 million tons,” Hendra said
