First Europa League title, then farewell?

Star coach José Mourinho (60) secured the semi-finals in the Europa League with AS Roma on Thursday against Feyenoord Rotterdam with a furious 4-1 after extra time (first leg 0-1). Bayer Leverkusen is now waiting there.

Speaking of waiting: There could also be a new task waiting for “The Special One” in the new season. As the French sports portal RMC Sport reports, Mourinho’s name is traded at Paris St.-Germain – as a potential successor to Christophe Galtier (56).

His PSG adventure could end in June after just one season and despite a contract until 2024. Because: After another early failure in the Champions League (out in the round of 16 against Bayern) and recently a few poor appearances in the league, the coach is losing more and more credit.

So is Mourinho (contract in Rome until 2024) someone who can finally get the capricious Parisian star ensemble around Neymar and Mbappé under control?

The ex-Real and Chelsea coach undoubtedly has the format. But: He also knows very well that sometimes things happen quickly. Especially when a top club like PSG comes knocking. Therefore, Mourinho only says about his future: “We will see later.”
