In the district of Leiria, the accumulation of positive diagnoses for Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic has increased, in the last 24 hours, from 591 to 612, that is, 21 more cases.
This number, revealed in the bulletin of this Monday, June 29, of the District Civil Protection Commission (CDPC) of Leiria, updated today at 00:05 am, translates an increase of 3.5% compared to yesterday.
Of the total number of cases, 35.6% remain active (218, 15 more than yesterday).
Like yesterday, the number of deaths remains 34. The recovered cases are also the same as yesterday: 354.
New cases
In the last 24 hours, 21 new cases have been identified, most of them in Caldas da Rainha (ten) and Figueiró dos Vinhos (six), according to CDPC.
Assets
There are currently 218 active cases of Covid-19 infection, that is, people who are still sick. Most are connected to the municipalities of Alcobaça, Bombarral, Caldas da Rainha and Peniche.
Recovered
The bulletin released today by the Civil Protection of the Leiria district contains 354 recovered, the same number as yesterday. These people were infected with Covid-19 but are cured, according to health authorities.
Deaths
There are 34 deaths in the district of Leiria related to Covid-19, a number that has remained unchanged for 72 hours.
Diagnostics since the beginning of the pandemic
The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the district of Leiria (including assets, cured and deaths) is now 612, 21 more than yesterday, an increase of 3.5% (yesterday, the increase compared to Saturday had been 0.3%).
Data by county
Alcobaça has 57 active patients from Covid-19, the same as yesterday. According to the Civil Protection there are 46 recovered, five deaths and 108 confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic, in March.
Alvaiázere has no active patients, registering 27 identified cases, 22 recovered and five deaths.
Ansião it also does not register changes in the number of cases (nine cases) and recovered (eight), continuing with an active patient, since there is no news of deaths. For reasons of confidentiality and data protection, DGS – Directorate-General for Health and CDOS do not provide disaggregated information when the number in the municipality is less than three.
On Battle the numbers remain unchanged: zero active patients, zero deaths, eight cases and eight recovered.
Bombarral does not register changes in relation to the previous bulletin: it continues with 33 cases identified and ten recovered. CDPC data do not reveal the number of deaths due to confidentiality, as it is less than three. According to the report of the community of municipalities in the West (CimOeste), published yesterday at 10 pm, there is a death in the county, therefore, 22 people remain sick with Covid-19.
Queen syrup today has recorded 109 cases since the beginning of the pandemic, ten more than yesterday. There are still 45 cured and four deaths, that is, 60 active patients.
Castanheira de Pera is the county in the district least affected by the pandemic. You will not have active patients. There is an officially declared recovered, which will be the only case recorded to date. As previously mentioned, for reasons of confidentiality and data protection, DGS – Directorate-General for Health and CDOS do not provide disaggregated information when the number in the municipality is less than three.
Figueiró dos Vinhos has had data changes in the past 24 hours and has reported new cases. According to the latest Civil Protection bulletin, six new cases of infection were identified. There are now 14, including six recovered.
The municipality of Leiria today registers a new case, bringing confirmed infections to 114 since the beginning of the pandemic. It is now the municipality with the most cases identified since March. Of the total number of infected people, 92 have recovered
Marinha Grande maintains the same situation as the two previous bulletins: 19 cases, of which 16 are cured.
Nazaré continues with five confirmed cases, two of which have already been recovered. According to CimOeste and the Municipality, there are two deaths in the municipality, therefore, an active case of infection by the new coronavirus.
Obidos has the same 13 cases from the last two days, with the number of recovered people remaining unchanged compared to yesterday’s bulletin (seven). So six people are still sick.
Pedrógão Grande he has no active cases of Covid-19 and has maintained the same numbers for several days: four cases, four cured.
Peniche today records two more confirmed cases, rising to 44 the number of infected people diagnosed since the beginning of the pandemic. Of these, 15 are recovered and three have died (numbers unchanged from yesterday’s bulletin). There are now 26 active patients in the municipality.
Pombal has 85 confirmed cases, the same as yesterday. With 10 deaths and 63 recovered to date (the same as yesterday), 12 are infected with the new coronavirus who are still sick.
Porto de Mós today it has 19 confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic (two more than yesterday), of which 9 are cured. There is a record of a death, confirmed by the municipality. In other words, there are a total of nine active patients in this municipality.
