Save me premiered in March 2009 as a primetime show late night to comment survivors after the weekly gala.
It began with classic collaborators from the world of the heart such as Karmele Marchante, Kiko Hernández or Belén Esteban. Jorge Javier Vázquez was the presenter from the first program.
It started out as a weekly show.
The program was characterized by saying those things that could not be said at the gala because they were no longer on schedule for all audiences. The tone was humorous and it was a complete success.
Soon they took it to the desktop schedule and began to comment more realities and heart news. The controversies that took place between collaborators began to be a mark of the program and the internal plots were born.
Treating almost everything in a comedy key was also a hallmark, since almost the first day they have dressed up, danced and improvised some kind of comic theater.

13 years ago Save me came to television and little by little it has been done with the complete grid of Telecinco afternoons, in addition to its format Deluxe which lasts four and a half hours prime time of Saturdays.

Jorge Javier Vázquez has become one of the veterans of Spanish television thanks to Save me. He was the first presenter of the program and is still active.
In 2009 he was already well known thanks to here is tomato and other heart programs. But he ended up establishing himself as one of Mediaset’s benchmarks.
His career has been taking other paths and he has published two books and starred in three plays, however, he has never stopped presenting Save me.

Paz Padilla is one of the best-known comedians in Spain. She begins to collaborate on a television program in the 90s and reaches Save me when they pass it daily to relieve Jorge Javier.

Terelu Campos is one of the most mythical collaborators of the heart programs. She enters to collaborate in Save me in 2010 and is a substitute presenter when necessary.
From 2011 to 2014 she was the summer presenter of save me deluxe. After this she left the program for a few years until now she has returned to present the first slot with María Patiño.

Since 2001, María Patiño has not stopped working as a collaborator in top-level heart programs. She starts earlier save me deluxe in 2012 and in 2014 to save me diary.
Although late, Patiño arrives with great force and has become a very important figure in the program. She has been one of the most recurring substitute presenters.
