She has written a book, gives lectures and acts as moderator and chair of the day. ‘I always have something to do’, she says in MAX Magazine. She has never been afraid to fall into a hole after her NOS farewell. ‘I am much too active and curious in life for that,’ says Noraly, who also has a busy social life.
In love
“I wasn’t talking about a relationship.” That changed last year, when she fell in love with actor/writer Joost Prinsen (80). Noraly was then 25 years separated from Janos, the father of her children: son Miklos and daughter Noémi. (…) She never thought she’d be a man’s hotel bar again, especially after she’d passed seventy. ‘But I myself am now living proof that that is still possible. That’s the beauty of life; that love is always there. And it has to be, because what is life without love?’
Live together
Noraly experiences the same feeling of loving and being loved as in her younger years. “But because you’re older, you handle it differently, maybe a little more sedate. You don’t run as fast as you can.’ For example, Noraly didn’t feel like moving in together, she thought that the relationship with Joost turned her life upside down enough. ‘You have to give and take, make room, plan…’
