Florida kindergarten teacher surprised students in his virtual classroom on Monday when rock singer Jon Bon Jovi appeared during a writing lesson on confinement life during the coronavirus pandemic .

Last month, the rocker released an incomplete version of Do what you can, a ballad on the fight against the virus in the United States, and asked his fans to write verses to complete it, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Floridian teacher Michael Bonick, a longtime admirer of Bon Jovi, saw the singer’s invitation and found contact with a group employee online. He sent him his students’ verses on life in confinement.

An employee responded to him saying that Jon Bon Jovi wanted to meet the kids, and he appeared on their laptop screens at 10 a.m. on Monday.

“Mr. B. made you write and I was very excited to learn that, “said the singer to the students,” because if you can put your emotions on paper, they sometimes turn into songs, sometimes they become stories and you never know where it could lead you. “

The musician has received thousands of submissions online to date, and has incorporated some of them into song performances that he streams online from his New Jersey home.

In front of the 20 students – and their parents – Jon Bon Jovi took his guitar and sang three of the verses composed by the children.

According to the teacher, the children really enjoyed the experience.

“They were impressed. They enjoyed every minute of the experience, “he said.
